How do we find Kluane Cabins?
Kluane Cabins is located on the Haines Road, 27 kilometres south of Haines Junction. Watch for the signposts for the Kluane National Park Kathleen Lake Campground and Day Use Area.

Our driveway is on the opposite side of the road and the next turn AFTER you pass the access road to the Kathleen Lake campground. You will see a large sign on a log frame displaying "Kluane Cabins" at the entrance of our driveway.
Other FAQs
What can we expect to find in our cabins?
You will find your self-catered, off-grid cabin has a well-equipped kitchenette, with a 2-burner stove, wash sink, good counter space, a collection of pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, utensils, in addition to dish towels and cleaning supplies.
Cabin kitchens are also stocked with essential items including salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, and tea.
Do you provide food on-site?
At this time, we are unable to offer breakfast services to our guests, but we do equip your kitchen with complimentary coffee from Bean North Coffee Roasting Co. and a selection of caffeinated and herbal teas.
Most of our guests arrive with coolers & ice packs to keep their food fresh. If you are staying with us for an extended period, ask us about re-freezing your ice packs.
With advanced group bookings and events, we may be able to provide an optional breakfast basket drop off service for a small fee.
Please inquire for further details.
Can guests access cellular data and/or wifi on site?
Put simply, no. Many of our guests tell us that the lack of cell service is great for their unplugged retreat and we hope you can enjoy that too!
Our facilities are just beyond cellular communication range, but a short drive up the highway may also work for you.
If you have an urgent need to make a call, we can provide assistance with the use of our landline at the main cabin (private) or with our cell-phone booster.
Does my cabin have a wood stove?
With the aim of reducing propane-usage, additional wood stoves have been installed in some of our cabins.
Guests booked in the Chalet, Kluane, Kathleen, and King’s Throne cabins have access to wood stoves and will be provided with ample, locally-sourced dry-wood.
If intending to use a wood stove, please read instructions provided carefully in order to get the best burn and not overheat your cabin.
If in doubt or you require assistance in getting a fire going, please do not hesitate to ask a member of our team.
Do you have a minimum duration for cabin bookings?
Yes, we have a minimum two-night booking requirement.
That said, we may be able to accommodate you for a single-night booking, depending on other bookings and our capacity for rapid turnovers. There is a $50.00 surcharge when we accept single night bookings.
How can I stay safe in bear country?
At Kluane Cabins, we are keen naturalists with biology-ecology backgrounds and are very happy to share our knowledge and eager to hear of your own experiences.
To keep yourselves and other visitors on site safe, we ask that guests do not leave food, fuel, garbage, or other attractants outside your cabins.
If you need to dispose of something that is stinky, or are unsure of potential attractants, please ask us and we will be happy to assist

When heading out on your outdoor adventures, we encourage you to make yourselves known to local wildlife & to carry bear-spray with you.
